Japan's Brutal Future and Solutions
Problems children will surely face

In the early 1990s, just before the bursting of the bubble economy.
I studied abroad in San Francisco.
At that time, SF was safe and the cost of living was low,
It was a very popular destination for Japanese people who could fully enjoy the American feeling.
It was a time when Japan's economic power was overwhelmingly strong,
I was able to study abroad at a lower cost than staying at a boarding house at a university in Tokyo.
Moreover, it was a relatively safe city where many Japanese went for sightseeing.
But now San Francisco is.
A lot has changed since then.
Prices are rising, economic disparity is widening, and crime is increasing,
Stores and people have been drastically reduced from the streets of SF.
The number of homeless people was about 120,000 in 1980.
By 2023, the number will reach a whopping 650,000 in the United States.
In the United States, the top 10% of people own 67% of the total wealth,
The bottom 50% of people own only 2% of the total wealth.
A few wealthy people monopolize an overwhelming amount of wealth,
A country where the overwhelming majority of people own very little wealth.
That is the United States today.
And now Japan is about to follow a similar path.
High prices, economic disparity, and collapsing social welfare (the U.S. is on its own).
In addition to domestic economic disparities, Japan itself
We have lost our economic advantage over other countries.
Just as the Japanese did in the past,
Nowadays, people from overseas come to Japan for travel and shopping, saying that it is cheap and inexpensive.
It's good for shopping only,
What if the purchase targets Japanese assets?
Just as Japanese companies once bought up foreign assets.
While in Japan
Japanese assets that no longer belong to Japan (people) are on the side.
Who would like to see the overwhelming majority of Japanese people becoming poor?
In addition to the economy, Japan is experiencing a variety of other institutional fatigue.
In this light, the wheel-stopping to decline is
We must assume that it has already been removed.
How to live in a society with many challenges?

That there is a 50% poor population,
This is true for one out of every two people.
What should we as parents and educators think about these realities?
If your child, or your pupil, doesn't get into the one-in-two chance zone.
What parent or educator can say for sure?
Here we present two perspectives.
That means protecting yourself.
Japan is no longer a total middle class society.
It is impossible to defend oneself in a system that someone else gives you.
Acquire the skills and mindset that not only Japan but the world demands,
It is to wear a value that is accepted around the world.
The other is to change the problematic system.
The neoliberal economy that the world has pursued has created overwhelming disparities as described above,
Apparently, as an institution, it is on the verge of collapse.
It is hard to believe that a system in which 650,000 people live on the streets can continue as it is.
Where the two overlap, there is a solution.

Self-protection and problem-solving perspectives will eventually intersect.
To work is to accomplish something for someone else,
Solving someone's problems or making someone's life better.
It is to create something new.
The ability to implement this solution and creation from a global perspective is what
It is a value (ability) that will be required in the world of the future.
In addition, both Japan and the world are full of challenges.
If these issues are not resolved
Japan and the world will be headed for a catastrophic situation.
That is, if you have acquired the desire and ability to solve the world's problems,
That you and the world will be on a prosperous and happy path.
Isn't that what you say?
If many human beings became parties to the solution and creation from a global perspective,
All of us should be able to grasp abundance and happiness for all of us.
Not education in a game of musical chairs of passing,
Would you like to change to an education that builds and provides chairs?
That thing is my cute little boy too,
I think it is a way to make the world happy at the same time.
Let us work together to educate (methods) for this purpose.
